It is time to get back to class! As you prepare your family for the “re-entry,” stock up on the tools that you will need. Being organized is the first step. Take your list of school supplies as you go shopping and enjoy the excitement of gathering. When you get home take time to organize those materials. Dr. Luke Waites once told me, “you have to organize your things before you can organize your thoughts.” Set up a home study area where all the necessary materials are readily available. A toolbox with those supplies is a wonderful idea and it is portable (think desk to kitchen table). Beginning the new year with all the necessary (and some extra fun) supplies and having a place for all those supplies gives everyone a feeling of control and confidence as they begin a new adventure. Have a great 2010/2011 year!
